Chicago Schools Announce Closures and Transition to E-Learning Due to Incoming Snowstorm
CHICAGO - As a winter storm intensifies in the Plains and Midwest, schools in the Chicago area are beginning to announce closures or a transition to E-learning for Wednesday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is set to begin at 9 a.m. CST on Wednesday and will remain in effect until 3 a.m. CST on Thursday, as per the National Weather Service.
Snow from the winter storm is expected to arrive in Chicagoland on Wednesday morning, starting off lightly and continuing into late morning. By early afternoon, snow accumulation will increase throughout the area.
